​Here’s What Is Happening In 2023
At the Cheshire Children’s Museum, our aim is to inspire kids to ​play & learn, explore with curiosity, and imagine that anything is possible. With that goal in mind, we’re hoping to bring you many wonderful programs this year in 2023.
Following the success of our Fall lineup, we will be continuing to offer our children a chance to enjoy nature, storytime, crafts, and much more. These activities will fill each day, as our little family experiences all that the Museum has to offer. While we develop new programs for the upcoming year, we look forward to playing along as we all work to improve the well-being of our children.
It's these moments that bring us closer together as a community and build a stronger future.

Hours Of Invitation
As always, the museum’s doors will be open Wednesday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm, breaking at 12 pm to 1 pm for lunch and clean up. On Saturday, we’re open an hour earlier! From 9 am to 4 pm, again with a break from 12 pm to 1 pm.
Program Break Down

Beam Floor Party!
Wednesday @10:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm & 3:30pm
Most Wednesdays of the month, we will have the Beam Floor Party! This unique, virtual playground offers an experience that captivates both children and adults. Through the use of a projector, it allows children to interact in with their world in an entertaining and innovative way. (It’s like a big tablet on the floor).

Music and Stories with Mr. Goodwin 
1st Wednesday of the month @11 am
Once a month, the Cheshire Children’s Museum will be welcoming Mr. Todd Goodwin! Gathering around in a campfire-style group, Mr. Todd will entertain both children and adults with his musings. From fascinating campfire stories to playing his harmonica, Mr. Goodwin fills the room with his song full of joy. With each visit, Mr. Goodwin brings a brighter smile to the CCM community!

Preschool Storytime & Craft
Thursday @ 10:30am & 3:00pm
Held on Thursday, the children will be whisked away to story land with Ms. Sara! Here the children are encouraged to create wonderful works of art, directly from their own noggins. Each piece is unique to the child and is urged to be brought home. With just a little imagination and heart, they learn that anything is possible.

Nature Watch- Cornucopia Project?
Friday @ 10:30 am & 3:00pm
Each Friday the Cheshire Children’s Museum invites you and your kids to learn about the natural world around you. From farming to the animals we live amongst, our friends at the Harris Conservation Education Center, Cornucopia Project, and author Suzie Spikol, will teach you new and exciting environmental facts so you can become a nature expert too! Participate in a fun nature craft too!

Coffee and a Chat
Friday @ 10:30 am-12:00pm & 1:30pm- 4:00pm
Looking for kinship in the chaos of parenthood? Every Friday we serve up a hot pot of Tera Nova coffee, along with some yummy baked goods from Keene Confections. While the kids play, chat with us and each other, as we share the wins and woes that come along with raising a young one. Not only is it a great way to take a breath, but it helps strengthen our bond as a community.
