We will temporarily close after our Saturday afternoon session on December 5th.
This was a very difficult decision to make. After consulting with our Board of Directors we have decided that it is in the best interest of keeping people as safe as we can. That is our priority!
There were 2 factors that influenced this decision. First, is the high rate of Covid cases in our area, which continues to set records. The other factor is that 2/3 of our small number of Admissions Desk Staff have been exposed to the virus. Their exposure happened after their most recent day working at the museum. Neither staff member has been in the museum since before Thanksgiving. This leaves one person to do everything including cleaning, which is asking too much of one person.
We will continue to monitor the number of cases in our area to make a decision about reopening. We are hoping for the second week in January which will enable us to reduce the holiday exposure to our staff and visitors.

Please read before making reservations:

*Museum capacity is limited to 20 visitors, which is about 15% of capacity - reservations required.  Nonmembers will pay upon entering the museum.

*Two sessions on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays are available.  10 to noon and 1:30 to 3:30.  We will be cleaning in between sessions. 

*All staff and visitors over 24 months of age must wear a mask over their nose and mouth.

*If you or your children are not feeling well, please stay home.  This also applies to staff.

*Please use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the museum as well as during play.  There are now 5 dispensers throughout the museum.

*Everyone from different family units should stay 6 feet apart with one visiting unit per exhibit.

*Please put props that have been in a child's mouth in 1 of 2 Yuck Buckets to be sanitized.  They are located by Monadnock Munchkins and the Large Dollhouse.

*No food or drink in the museum.  

*Museum memberships will have 8 months added to the old expiration date

*We will adjust as things change.  We ask for patience and kindness for staff and for all visitors.
