Child abuse and neglect has reached epidemic proportions in the United States.  For every incident of child abuse that is reported, an estimated two incidents go unreported.  With such a startling fact as this, it is easy to feel helpless.  But there is hope in ending the cycle of child abuse. In the state of New Hampshire, any person 18 years of age and older is required to report any suspicion of child abuse.  In our Monadnock Region, MCVP: Crisis and Prevention Center provides programming in schools and to organizations to help educate and train in Child Sexual Abuse prevention.
